Who we are.
Sendozi is operated by Semper Technologies Ltd, registered in Nigeria, with its office at Lagos, Nigeria. For this policy, "we" means Semper Technologies Ltd and "you" means a visitor, account holder or message recipient.
The data we collect.
Account data (name, email, phone, business details, KYC documents where required); usage data (messages metadata, delivery records, login and device information); billing data (top-ups and invoices; card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us); recipient data uploaded by our customers (names, phone numbers, email addresses), which we process on the customer's instructions.
Why we process it (lawful bases under the NDPA 2023).
Performing our contract with you; complying with legal obligations, including telecommunications and financial regulations; legitimate interests in securing and improving the platform; consent, where we ask for it, which you may withdraw at any time.
Customer lists and your responsibilities.
When you upload recipients, you confirm you have a lawful basis to message them. We act as a data processor for that data and provide opt-out tooling you are required to honour.
Sharing.
Network operators and channel providers as needed to deliver messages; payment processors; professional advisers; authorities where the law requires. We do not sell personal data.
Retention.
Account data for the life of the account plus 12 months; message logs for 24 months; billing records for the period required by Nigerian law.
Security.
Encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging and staff confidentiality obligations. No system is perfectly secure; we notify affected users and the Nigeria Data Protection Commission of breaches as the NDPA requires.
Your rights.
Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and objection, plus the right to withdraw consent and to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. To exercise any right, email hello@sendozi.com.

International transfers.
Some channel infrastructure (for example email and WhatsApp) involves processing outside Nigeria, under safeguards consistent with the NDPA, including contractual protections with our providers.
Children.
Sendozi accounts are for users aged 18 and above.
Changes.
We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
